Purpose and legal basis of processing personal data
When using the site, some personal data that can be associated with an individual person may be collected and processed. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the legitimate interest of CompanySpotter and/or the consent given by an individual when providing his/her personal data in connection with a (free) subscription, a subscription to blog posts and newsletters or other material on our websites or through other identifiable means. The data subject has the right to withdraw his/her consent at any time in a simple manner, for example by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each e-mail sent to data subjects and following the simple instructions on the unsubscribe page.

Sources of Personal Information
CompanySpotter collects personal data mainly from Connections through the contact forms of CompanySpotter's websites, through cookies on CompanySpotter's websites and CompanySpotter's customer database.
Content of personal data
When the Connection decides to provide CompanySpotter with his/her personal information, CompanySpotter collects the information provided by the Connection by filling out forms or by contacting us. This includes the information necessary to perform the actions related to newsletter subscriptions, content downloads, event and webinar registrations, informing Connections and marketing purposes. To improve services, CompanySpotter may ask the Connection to provide us with additional information about the Connection, such as professional interests, experiences with CompanySpotter, as well as more detailed contact preferences. When you provide CompanySpotter with personal information, you consent to our collection and use of that information in accordance with this Policy.

- The company/organization which is represented,

Use of cookies and related technology
The use of cookies allows CompanySpotter to collect information about the use that the Connection makes of the internet and its services in general. This information allows us to improve our websites and services to meet the needs of the Connections, such as offering services that are better suited to the needs of the Connections, for example by saving favourites and identifying the Connections each time they return to our site. CompanySpotter may use other technologies or third party analytics software to collect and use certain non-personal data that does not allow CompanySpotter to identify the individual. CompanySpotter may use such non-personal information to analyse the use of the websites and services, and to manage, provide and further develop the websites and services. Non-personal data may include general, aggregate or demographic information. They will not be linked to personal information, through cookies or other means, without the consent of the person in question. This type of anonymous, aggregated profiling and session data may include information that the individual has provided to CompanySpotter through the use of the websites, services or products, or by participating in surveys, polls, etc. However, it will not be linked to any personal information. Recipients of personal data
Personal data may be shared with companies that provide services such as information processing, maintenance, providing services, managing and improving data, providing service, assessing interest in products and services, and conducting surveys. For the above purposes, Connections' personal data may be transferred to the following parties:

- Cooperation partners and service providers
- Communication platforms
- Contact register
- In the event that the law, legal proceedings and/or requests from public and governmental authorities require it, CompanySpotter may disclose your personal data.
Transfer and handling of data
The data that CompanySpotter collects from the Connection may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). They may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers (e.g. if our service provider or supplier is based outside the EEA). CompanySpotter will only disclose personal data to third parties operating outside of the EEA on the basis of a contractual agreement demonstrating that adequate data protection arrangements and measures are in place in accordance with the Data Protection Regulation. The vast majority of CompanySpotter's personal data is in electronic form. In the event that there are physical documents containing personal data, they will be immediately destroyed. The servers used by CompanySpotter are protected by appropriate firewalls and technical security.
All databases and information systems are only accessible with individual and personal login details (username and password) provided by CompanySpotter. Access rights to the aforementioned databases and information systems are limited, so that the information can only be viewed and processed by persons who are legally authorised to do so.
CompanySpotter's employees are committed to respecting professional secrecy and confidentiality with regard to the information they receive when processing personal data. Privacy and security guidelines have been communicated to employees and CompanySpotter and the privacy safeguards are strictly enforced within CompanySpotter. Rights of the data subject
