At Ad Hoc Data, we attach great importance to the privacy and trust of our users and customers. We are fully committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding electronic communications and to protecting our systems and users against unsolicited commercial emails, also known as spam. This policy describes our efforts to prevent spam, the responsibilities of users and partners, and the measures we take to ensure compliance.
This anti-spam policy applies to all electronic communications sent on behalf of Ad Hoc Data. It covers emails sent by employees, systems, or authorized partners, as well as marketing and promotional messages to customers and users.
The legal definition and status of spam varies by jurisdiction, but in essence, spam can be defined as unsolicited email sent in bulk. Any promotion or invitation sent by email to a person without that person’s prior consent may be considered spam. Exceptions to this definition may apply if there is a pre-existing relationship between the sender and the recipient, or if there is a legal necessity to inform a data subject.
Below is an overview of several possible examples of spam. This list is for illustrative purposes only. We strongly advise all parties involved to be thoroughly and specifically informed in advance about the laws and regulations applicable in their jurisdiction.
Before prospects or customers of Ad Hoc Data can receive advertisements or promotions, they must have consented to receiving such messages. Every recipient may at any time request to be removed from our list, and we will honor such requests. Furthermore, we will thoroughly investigate all complaints from recipients regarding unsolicited messages. Every commercial email sent by Ad Hoc Data contains a clear and simple unsubscribe option. Recipients can unsubscribe via a visible unsubscribe link or by contacting us directly. Unsubscribes are processed within a maximum of five working days and are final, unless a recipient later opts in again.
Any partners, resellers, or affiliates communicating on behalf of Ad Hoc Data must strictly adhere to this anti-spam policy. Emails may only be sent to recipients who have explicitly consented to receiving communications. Violations may result in termination of the partnership or legal action.
Ad Hoc Data takes complaints about spam seriously. If you receive an unsolicited commercial message that you suspect originates from or on behalf of us, you can report this via [email protected]. Complaints are investigated, and if necessary, we take appropriate action such as warnings, account restrictions, or termination of cooperation.
For questions about our anti-spam policy or to file a complaint, you can contact: Ad Hoc Data, via: [email protected].
